Dr. Carrie Jones is an internationally recognized speaker, consultant, and educator on the topic of women’s health and hormones. She graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), School of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon where she also completed her 2-year residency in women’s health, hormones and endocrinology. Later she graduated from Grand Canyon University’s Master of Public Health program with a goal of doing more international education. She was adjunct faculty for many years at NUNM teaching gynecology and advanced endocrinology/fertility and has been the Medical Director for 2 large integrative clinics in Portland. She is the Medical Director for Precision Analytical, Inc, creators of the DUTCH hormone test.

Lee Know, ND, is a licensed naturopathic doctor based out of Canada, and the recipient of several awards. Known by his peers to be a strategic and forward-thinking entrepreneur and researcher, he has held positions as medical advisor, scientific evaluator, and director of research and development for major organizations. Besides managing Scientific Affairs for his own company, he also currently serves as a consultant to the natural-health-products and dietary-supplements industries, and serves on the editorial advisory board for Canada’s most-read natural health magazine. He calls the Greater Toronto Area home, where he lives with his common-law partner and their two sons, and has a particular interest in promoting natural health and environmental stewardship.

This Week on TheHealthHub…Women’s Hormonal Health Through Menopause with Dr. Ginger Nash

 

Dr. Ginger Nash graduated from The National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1998. After graduating, she worked in the field of women’s health, speaking with and lecturing to hundreds of women interested in hormonal health throughout the U.S.

Dr. Nash moved to the East Coast in 1999 and has had a thriving practice in Connecticut since that year. She studied complex homeopathy for 10 years with Dr. Gerard Gueniot and for 3 years Dr. Nash worked alongside Dr. Peter D’Adamo at The Center for Personalized Medicine in Wilton, CT. Both complex herbal medicine and nutri-genomics are the cornerstones of her practice.

Dr. Nash taught at the University of Bridgeport’s College of Naturopathic Medicine clinic for 6 years and has taught seminars for health care practitioners throughout the U.S. and Canada for over a decade. She is currently working on a book about women’s health.

Dr Leslie Korn, is an internationally renowned expert in mental health nutrition, integrative medicine and trauma who has provided over 50,000 hours of clinical treatment using non pharmaceutical methods for mental and physical illness. She completed her graduate training at Harvard Medical School, the Harvard School of Public Health and the Union Institute and University.  She is the author  of 8 books including The Good Mood Kitchen, Nutrition Essentials for Mental Health, Rhythms of Recovery: Trauma, Nature and the Body; and Preventing and Treating Diabetes, Naturally: The Native Way . She writes a blog for Psychology Today.Dr. Leslie lived and worked in rural indigenous Mexico for over 25 years directing a free natural medicine clinic. She conducts distance work in Mental Health Nutrition, coaches clinicians to incorporate mental health nutrition and complementary methods into their practice and conducts keynotes and trainings to corporations and mental health agencies about natural medicine for optimal health.
