Dr. Meghan Walker is a naturopathic doctor and Entrepologist (On-tre-pol-uh-gist), focusing on health and business optimization for clinician entrepreneurs and game changers. As an entrepreneur, Meghan started and sold her first business while in University and is a co-founder and past CEO of the digital health media start-up, Bright Almond. Meghan co-founded and sold her first clinic, The Integrative Health Institute after graduation from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and went on to found and sell her second micro-practice, Entrepology Performance Labs. She is currently the host of the podcast, IMPACT with Meghan Walker, Co-Founder of Health Hives, and CEO/Chief Cheerleader at Clinician Business Labs – a platform to assist clinicians to scale and amplify their businesses. Meghan is an award-winning speaker, having spoken on international stages and through multiple media outlets on topics related to women’s performance medicine, brain health and entrepreneurship. Meghan is the host and producer of the annual entrepreneurship conference Impact LIVEs and most importantly, the bedtime story reader to her three girls.

Allan Misner is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach, and a Functional Aging Institute (FAI) Certified Functional Aging Specialist. He went on to earn specialties in Fitness Nutrition, Corrective Exercise, Behavior Change, Performance Enhancement, and Online Personal Training. He launched 40+ Fitness Online Personal Training to help people over 40 lose weight and get healthy and fit. He is the host of the 40+ Fitness Podcast, for which he has interviewed hundreds of health and wellness experts with a wide range of specialties.

This Week On TheHealthHub…Cornerstones Of Brain Health With Dr. Tommy Wood

Tommy Wood MD, PhD is an, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neuroscience at the University of Washington, where his research interests include determining how early brain injury impacts brain health across the lifespan, as well as developing easily-accessible and equitable methods with which to track health, performance, and longevity in both professional athletes and the general population. He received an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, a medical degree from the University of Oxford, and a PhD in physiology and neuroscience from the University of Oslo. Tommy has acted as a performance consultant for professional athletes in a dozen different sports, serves as associate editor of the Wiley Journal Lifestyle Medicine, is a Director of the British Society for Lifestyle Medicine, and consults for a number of digital health companies and charities that focus on how lifestyle and the environment can affect long-term health and chronic disease.

This Week On TheHealthHub…Building Holistic Self-Confidence With Alexandra Dotcheva

Alexandra Dotcheva, DMA, RN was born and raised into a musicians’ family in Bulgaria, Alexandra Dotcheva came to the US in 2000 after earning a bachelor’s degree in Music from the National Academy of Music in Sofia. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance from Louisiana State University in 2007 and decided to pursue a career in nursing in 2008.

Alexandra has been practicing as a registered nurse since 2011, with a strong passion for educating patients on acquiring optimal health. She also has interests in martial arts, fitness, finance, and investing. Her mission is to help people overcome self-imposed limitations that prevent many from realizing their goals, finding peace of mind, and acquiring prosperity. By sharing her own journey to achieving control over the most important aspects of life, Alexandra’s goal is to inspire others to turn away from various forms of fear and self-doubt and go after their dreams instead of leading lives subdued to conventional ways of thinking that have long been proven outdated, inadequate, and damaging to a person’s self-esteem and self-confidence.
