This Week On The Health Hub…Integrative Therapies For Promoting Brain Health with Dr. Lenny Cohen

Lenny Cohen, MD, is a top-ranked, award-winning neurologist who leads the practice at Chicago Neurological Services in Chicago and Oak Park, Illinois. Dr. Cohen is an expert physician who has spent more than a decade committed to personalized care that helps each of his Chicagoland patients understand their condition, feel their best, and live each day comfortably. He offers the latest technology for treatment and stays up to date with the latest research. Dr. Cohen started his medical education in Russia where he was born and raised. At the age of 20, he moved to New York City to pursue his passion for medicine. He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Saint Maarten. He completed his residency in neurology at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is highly respected amongst his peers and patients and in addition to founding Chicago Neurological Services, Dr. Cohen is also the founder of Lakeshore Hyperbaric Center in Chicago. Dr. Cohen uses advanced science and a devotion to personalized care to offer men and women a unique approach focused on their long-term health and well-being. This Week On The Health Hub…It’s Your Baby Too! Dad’s Role In The Birthing Process with Brian Salmon

Brian W. Salmon also known as Brian the Birth Guy, is a doula, certified lactation counselor, and prenatal imaging specialist. Brian holds a degree in radiology, studied biology and chemistry with an emphasis in pathophysiology and owns BabyVision Ultrasound, San Antonio’s leader in 3D and 4D pre-natal imaging ultrasound. He created the Rocking Dads childbirth class for birth partners, and the Facilitating Fearless Birth class for couples and co-authored The Go to Guide for New Dads. He has partnered with over 20,000 couples in his ultrasound clinics, birth classes, speaking engagements, and hospitals as a doula. He lives with his two beautiful daughters in San Antonio, TX.

Catharine has a thirty year career as an international Attache for the Canadian and British Governments, publisher of an international magazine and Founder of three startups. But in 2009 when her younger sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and advised by her oncologist to change her diet to an alkaline one because it would help her heal, Catharine put her career on hold to help her sister. In the process, she discovered algae, the most alkaline, nutrient-dense plant in the world that no one seemed to know about. Lee Know, ND, is a licensed naturopathic doctor based out of Canada, and the recipient of several awards. Known by his peers to be a strategic and forward-thinking entrepreneur and researcher, he has held positions as medical advisor, scientific evaluator, and director of research and development for major organizations. Besides managing Scientific Affairs for his own company, he also currently serves as a consultant to the natural-health-products and dietary-supplements industries, and serves on the editorial advisory board for Canada’s most-read natural health magazine. He calls the Greater Toronto Area home, where he lives with his common-law partner and their two sons, and has a particular interest in promoting natural health and environmental stewardship.
