Dr. Christina Carew is a naturopathic doctor who practices strategic functional medicine in Toronto.  A published author and researcher, she is a lifelong scholar always looking synthesize and combine new research and information into her clinical tool box. As a medical investigator, she focuses on finding the biomedical reasons for symptoms that are often unique to each patient. Christina’s journey to naturopathic medicine was inspired through working within the teen mental health space.  Her goal is to be a catalyst in helping clinicians reframe how they think about mental health and approaches to treatment. Her practice goal is to help patients remove the obstacles that stand in the way of living a healthy vibrant life. Christina focuses on empowering patients to make informed decisions on their health journey but focusing on the need for individuality in treatment approaches and teaching patients how to listen to their own bodies.

Dr. Thomas J. Lewis is a Medical Scientist. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from MIT and certification from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is an entrepreneur and healthcare professional with expertise in toxic substances, drug development, biotechnology, health technology, and medical protocol development. For the past 12 years he has worked closely with senior researchers and clinicians at Harvard Medical School and has developed a program for chronic disease root cause prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment. Alzheimer’s disease and the most serious eye diseases, macular degeneration and glaucoma have been a particular focus.

Dr. Reza Hakkak, Ph.D. is a professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition, Department of Pediatrics, and College of Public Health.  He is Chairman of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition.  His current research interests are influence of diet and nutrition on cancer prevention, obesity and breast cancer links, nutrition education, and interactions of food and drug metabolism.
