{"id":6848,"date":"2019-04-03T15:03:17","date_gmt":"2019-04-03T20:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cathybiase.com\/?p=3802"},"modified":"2019-04-03T15:03:17","modified_gmt":"2019-04-03T20:03:17","slug":"basic-recipe-for-energy-balls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cathybiase.com\/index.php\/2019\/04\/03\/basic-recipe-for-energy-balls\/","title":{"rendered":"Basic Recipe for Energy Balls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No bake energy balls are the perfect little pick me up when your energy is low or your tummy is a grumblin&#8217;!\u2063<\/p>\n<p>And once you have the basics in place you are only limited by your own creativity\u2063.<\/p>\n<p>The basics of a good energy ball include:\u2063<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/2611.png\" alt=\"\u2611\ufe0f\" \/>Oats\u2063<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/2611.png\" alt=\"\u2611\ufe0f\" \/>Nut or seed butter\u2063<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/2611.png\" alt=\"\u2611\ufe0f\" \/>A sweetener like honey or maple syrup\u2063<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/2611.png\" alt=\"\u2611\ufe0f\" \/>Boosters and Tasters.<\/p>\n<p>And this my friends, the Boosters and Tasters, is where you set your energy balls apart from the rest.\u00a0\u00a0Boosters and tasters include hemp seeds, chia seeds, cacoa nibs, coconut, chocolate chips, dried fruit and flavourings such and vanilla and mint\u2063.<\/p>\n<h3>So here is your basic recipe:<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1f505.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udd05\" \/>1 cup rolled oats\u2063<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1f505.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udd05\" \/>1\/2 cup nut butter\u2063<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1f505.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udd05\" \/>1\/4 cup honey or maple syrup\u2063<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emojioneemoji\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1f505.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udd05\" \/> 2 Tablespoons of a Booster like hemp\u2063<\/p>\n<h3>Directions:<\/h3>\n<p>Blend the oats in your food processor until a flour consistency then add the rest of your basic ingredients and your choices of Tasters.
