But I do love my homemade stuff! I love the texture. I love the taste. And I love the fact that I am in control of the ingredients. Added to this is the fact that making it at home is not only cost effective, it\u2019s simple. Almond milk is loaded with essential vitamins, minerals and heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and is a great alternative to cow\u2019s milk. I use it in smoothies, lattes and every once and awhile just enjoy a cool glass of it on its own.<\/p>\n<p>As a heads up, preparation starts the night before and once made should last in your refrigerator for about 3 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>Ingredients:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u20221 Cup Organic Almonds soaked in water overnight<br \/>\n\u20223 Cups of water<br \/>\n\u20221-2 dates<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\n\u2022\u00bd tsp vanilla<br \/>\n\u2022Pinch of Sea Salt<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>After soaking nuts overnight, drain and rinse.<br \/>\nPut in blender and add water, dates, vanilla and salt.<br \/>\nBlend until liquified.<br \/>\nPour mixture through a nut bag or cheesecloth into container.<br \/>\nSqueeze nut bag until liquid is all in container.<br \/>\nRefrigerate and enjoy! <a class=\"_58cn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hashtag\/almondmilk?source=feed_text&amp;story_id=1634058880216394\" data-ft=\"{&quot;tn&quot;:&quot;*N&quot;,&quot;type&quot;:104}\"><span class=\"_58cl\">\u202a<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I must admit that I am not a fan of store bought Almond Milk.
