{"id":2501,"date":"2017-11-07T16:54:08","date_gmt":"2017-11-07T21:54:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.cathybiase.com\/?p=2501"},"modified":"2017-11-07T16:54:08","modified_gmt":"2017-11-07T21:54:08","slug":"easy-delicious-low-carb-tahini-bread","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cathybiase.com\/index.php\/2017\/11\/07\/easy-delicious-low-carb-tahini-bread\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy and Delicious Low Carb Tahini Bread"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This recipe for Low Carb Tahini Bread was posted by my colleague\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marshafenwicknutrition.com\/\">Marsha Fenwick\u00a0<\/a>.\u00a0 It&#8217;s easy and delicious and is full of protein and fiber.<\/p>\n<p>I stayed pretty true to Marsha&#8217;s recipe\u00a0 except for the addition of chia seeds and of fresh grated turmeric that I had just harvested from my garden.<a href=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_95271.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2506 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/cathybiase.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/IMG_95271.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"174\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Learning to incorporate turmeric in to your cooking offers many health benefits.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Turmeric<\/strong>\u00a0(Curcuma Longa) is an Indian spice that has the health benefits of being anti inflammatory, anti cancer and cardio protective.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So enjoy this Tahini Bread recipe and be sure to download<a href=\"https:\/\/cathybiase.lpages.co\/5-tasty-recipes-using-turmeric\/\">\u00a05 of\u00a0my\u00a0most popular recipes using turmeric<\/a>.\u00a0 These recipes are just delicious and they are a wonderful tool to start you on your way to including this incredibly healthy spice in to your diet.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Low Carb Tahini Bread Recipe<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 180C (350F)<\/li>\n<li>Line a bread pan with parchment paper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Base<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 Tablespoons of Tahini<\/li>\n<li>4 Eggs<\/li>\n<li>1 Tablespoons Maple Syrup<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n<li>Grated turmeric (approximately 1 inch&#8217;s worth)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Seed Mixture<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 cup sunflower seeds<\/li>\n<li>3 Tablespoons Flax seeds<\/li>\n<li>3 Tablespoons Sesame seeds<\/li>\n<li>1 Tablespoon Chia seeds<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>In a medium bowl mix base ingredients until well blended<\/li>\n<li>In a separate small bowl combine Seed Mixture ingredients<\/li>\n<li>Add 3\/4 of seed mixture to the base and blend well<\/li>\n<li>Pour mixture in to pan and top with remaining seed mixture<\/li>\n<li>Bake for approximately 30 minutes until bread is golden<\/li>\n<li>Remove. Cool.
