The type of food we are craving can be a clue as to why we are craving it. Certain foods may be high in certain minerals our body is lacking causing the craving. Other cravings may be explained by an imbalance of bacteria in the gut. Oftentimes a craving is simply a signal from the brain. MEET CATHY

My name is Cathy Biase.

I have a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto with a major in Psychology. I am a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and I’m a Certified Professional Cancer Coach. I am also a breast cancer survivor.

I specialize in the functional application of nutrition for root cause health improvement in the area of chronic disease with a focus on cancer care.

I have appeared on television and at speaking engagements educating people on topics such as nutritional support for cancer patients, managing side effects of allopathic cancer care, the Microbiome and its links to health, immune support, improving gut health and cancer coaching.

I am currently the host of The Health Hub, a radio talk show and podcast covering various aspects of Integrative health.

My education and experiences have given me a profound understanding of how vitally important proper Nutrition and Lifestyle are for attaining and maintaining optimal health.
