Every Tuesday from 11am -12pm I host The Health Hub, an interactive, forward thinking talk show on Radio Maria Canada.   Call, tweet or email your questions as together we explore health issues that are relevant to you from new and innovative points of view.

This Week on TheHealthHub…

Sean Lavery from Float Toronto

Sean is an avid yoga practitioner and former competitive hockey and rugby player. After studying political science and economics at McGill University, in Quebec Canada, he spent a few years as an entrepreneur in the world of online retail. Feeling completely overworked and over-stressed, he took his first vacation since university. A distinct lack of fulfillment combined with a newfound passion for introspection and silent contemplation led him into his first float.

The realization that these magical salt water pods have the potential to genuinely help a huge amount of people was the motivating factor for Sean and his business partner, Jesse. In the summer of 2014 they opened Float Toronto with the intention of making floatation therapy as affordable and accessible as possible.
